Razorfish and Samsung Open the Virtual Doors to Samsung 837X in Decentraland
Razorfish and Samsung Electronics America partnered to open the virtual doors to Samsung 837X: an immersive metaverse experience that transported visitors into the flagship store in the heart of New York City. The experience took place within the Decentraland platform, marking one of the largest brand takeovers in the metaverse to date.
Visitors to the experience could pick up exclusive NFTs and other goodies in the Samsung virtual store, while also checking out live events, including a mixed reality live dance party. Other attractions included a Connectivity Theater displaying the latest announcements from Samsung and a Sustainability Forest in partnership with Veritree, a climate solutions platform.
Razorfish created the experience through a “Power of One” solution that involved support from sister Publicis Groupe agencies, Publicis Media and the community.
“We’re incredibly proud to help bring the Samsung 837X experience to CES. For Samsung, being a leader in web 3.0 innovation is the most recent manifestation of its legacy. As consumer experiences multiply across the metaverse and other web 3.0 platforms, we’re only just beginning to deliver on the opportunities for brands to nurture relationships and monetize the new experiences made possible by this next frontier in digital," said Josh Campo, CEO of Razorfish.
